The Division of Guardian Police K2 - Katy takes people's concerns seriously. We believe the public is entitled to efficient, fair and impartial service. We investigate all allegations of Division of Guardian Police K2 - Katy employee misconduct and respond to inquiries about employee actions or division policy. If you have a complaint, you may report it to us in person, by letter, by telephone or by using the link at the bottom of the page.

If you choose to make a complaint, we will follow a formal process to ensure that your complaint is thoroughly investigated. When you file a complaint, you will be asked for your name, address, a telephone number where you can be reached and the details of your complaint, including date, time, location and name or description of the involved employee(s). 

The assigned supervisor will conduct a thorough investigation. He/she will interview the employee involved and any witnesses. The investigating supervisor may contact you for additional details or to clarify the information you have already provided. If it becomes necessary for you to contact the investigating supervisor, you may do so by calling him/her directly or by calling the Chief's Office. Normally, the investigation will be completed within 45 days of the time we receive the complaint. Upon conclusion of the investigation, you will receive a letter from the Chief's Office notifying you that the investigation is complete.

However, in accordance with the law and out of respect for employees' privacy, we do not release the final disposition of the complaint, or what specific discipline, if any, was imposed on the employee.
